Attitude Is Everything

Before starting today’s blog I want you to keep your breathe
upto last because here is something very important thing to be explained,
ATTITUDE.
What attitude actually is? Is it that what we see in songs
and music videos where hero is everything? Absolutely NO, this is all fake. In
real life Attitude is something different, so let’s witness meaning of attitude
in a new way.
Attitude is like the window of our house through which we
see the world. When the window is clear the outside world also appeared to be
clear but the same world looks to be dirty or bad or ugly through the dirty
window. This is same in case with our attitude, with positive attitude we
everything looks better but with negative attitude the same thing looks against
us. Let’s understand it using an example – when a little baby falls during his
learning period of walking; no but instead he rises up again with a cute smile
on his face and try it again but why when we grow up and falls start to blame
others sometimes, why we think that everyone were against us altough they often
support us. Have you remembered people around you usually laughed during your
childhood fall.
The people with positive Attitude say I can do it but with
negative attitude you say this is impossible or I am not capable of doing this.
The person with the negative attitude dwells on problems.
The person with the positive attitude concentrates on
solutions.
The person with the negative attitude finds fault with
others.
The person with the positive attitude looks for the good in
others.
The person with the negative attitude focuses on what’s
missing.
The person with the positive attitude counts his or her
blessings.
The person with the negative attitude sees limitations.
The person with the positive attitude sees possibilities
I think now you have
a better understanding of attitude. so decide what type of man you are in
actual.
But the attitude can be changed, below have some factors.
1. Subconscious or our thoughts- thoughts ,well
have you ever noticed that when you are in a negative person contact we often
listen ‘ I can’t do it, this is impossible, this one is so hard you can’t do
it’. All these things are because of negative attitude. Well, if you have these
negative thoughts in your mind the best way to have them away is imagination
which is really a helpful tool to change our thoughts.
Experiment- ok try to do what I say to you. Think of an
elephant, now make it pink. Have you done this , now take an another tougher
exercise think of yourself in a race where you are ahead of all other, now you
are waying ahead the end line is some steps away from you and you have done
this both of your hand is in the air and you are feeling marvelous. Have you
done the last exercise successfully, I thing you have well imagined both these
things. So what now you have a licence to thing according to your will. Go and
have every positive thoughts fitted in your mind.
2.
Influence
of positive – positive attitude man saw all things with different angle
which ultimately make them cheerful or feel more happy. Try to have the company
of these people and just reject the company of negative attitude man. If possible
write as many positive thoughts as you can around you. Try creating a positive
environment around you whatever it takes.
3.
Your
words matters – have you ever thought of any impact of words on our
attitude. Well I have an activity for you just do this and decide by your own.
Activity-
when people asked yourself how are you Or how you are feeling, just try to
reply first positively and then at other day with negative words like I am
feeling sick. I know most of you have done this before also and for sure your
mood have the same response as per your words. I mean to say you feel bad as
you reply negatively and good when you reply positively. So the next time when
someone asked you how are you? Just say terrifically good or in my own words
DHAANSHU, you will feel the same.
So now tell me how you are feeling?
4.
Don’t
feel unfortunate – sometime, in our life situations come when we feel now
nothing is left and it it because of my misfortune but sometime in this
situation you saw someone who is there in worse situation than you and still
working to come out of it with as many efforts as he can introduce. How
actually we react after seeing this situation, definitely we will gather all
our hopes and will work with our
full potential. Do’t say I am from middle class, I am not rich, I have not get
the good marks etc. Just stop it, you are the most fortunate try to find the
positive and you will analyse how fortunate you are. I will make some of the
counting – you have the smartphone in which you are reading my blog and certainly
an internet connection. It means you are
among that population who have that luxary and you are not among those areas
who have not that connection. Take the situation of natural calamities and you
are really very fortunate that at present you are not among the 20 million
victims of floods in bihar and assam. This is not the end of the list but there
are many areas where you are fortunate over others but we always remain busy in
counting where we are unfortunate. We have to be fortunate that we are not
fortunate everywhere and our life is going by some of our efforts and not because
of fortune. So the next time say I am the most fortunate man in the world and
you will certainly foud a significant positive change in your attitude.
5.
The last
key-Action – altough, changing our thinking and mindset is the beginning part
of Attitude changing but without actions it is very difficult to continue this
Attitude you want to make. But taking actions is not as easy as I have wrote it
. what make us not to take any action is the fear of failure. The fear of
failing on the stage , the fear of losing the match, the fear of loosing the
job etc. In fact, we are nourished in a manner that we fear of all these
things. And you know what we will do, we start sharing our failure associating
it with our misfortune to others. But believe me 90% of the people you share
these problems will not consider it and the rest 10% will feel happy after
listening about your failure. And earlier I too was among the last 10%. So what
to do in that situations. Just chill out, do not pressurize your failure on you
and use the power of small actions because you have not to start big but you
have to start small for a big. As an experiment just choose a small book like
this one to read then read only the introduction on the first day. And on the
second day start fresh with a new chapter making in your mind just to read one
page then as your intrest will mount on you will read the next and then next
and one day you found that I have read the full book.
So these are some of the magical
things from the great book ‘Attitude Is Everything’ by jeff Kellar. The best
thing with that book is that it has only 125 pages worth redable. So if you
have not yet started any book to read this can be the best option to start.
